Financial Policy
At Greenbrook, full payment is expected when services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. In an effort to make the cost of optimal dental care as easy and manageable for our patients as possible, we offer several payment options.
- 5% Discount. If you maintain a zero balance on your account by paying when services are rendered, we are happy to extend a 5% discount on the total fee (this does not apply to treatment billed to your account, or to credit card payments).
- Credit Card Payment. We accept both Master Card and Visa. Because we pay a fee for the service, the 5% discount noted above does not apply to payments made with a credit card.
- Billed Services. If full payment is not made at the time of service, a deposit of 1/3 is required, with the balance to be paid within 10 days of receipt of your next billed statement.
- In Office Payment Plans. For extensive treatment, we require 1/3 down at the start of treatment, 1/3 upon completion, and 1/3 within 10 days of receipt of the next statement following completion of treatment. This plan must be approved by and set up by the Office Manager prior to the start of treatment. Please see the Office Manager to make these arrangements. We are unable to make payment arrangements in our office that extend beyond three months.
Extended Payments. If you prefer to extend your payments beyond what is offered in our office (noted above), you may be eligible for a one-year interest-free loan through Care Credit. It requires a credit application to be completed and accepted. Contact information is available through our office, but all arrangements are made directly between patient and Care Credit.
Patients with Dental Insurance. We will submit a pre-estimate of benefits whenever possible and will submit your dental treatment to your insurance company at no charge. Dental insurance rarely covers the total cost of treatment, and we often encounter long delays in receiving insurance payments, therefore...
In all insurance cases, 1/3 of the fee is due when treatment is rendered.
Any remaining balance is due within 60 days, whether or not insurance payment has been received. If insurance payments are received after your full payment of the balance has been received, the credit balance will be either refunded to you or credited towards future work, at your discretion.
Please note, patients are responsible for payment of all fees charged, regardless of what insurance may (or may not) pay.
Further information regarding dental insurance can be found in our pamphlet, "So You've Got Dental Insurance..."
