The general public has become acutely aware lately of the importance of careful disinfecting, sterilization, and use of "barriers" (masks, gloves, etc.) in health care facilities.
You should know that our office has trained intensively, and has always practiced sound infection control. We follow ADA, CDC, and OSHA guidelines and regulations throughout our office, and we are continually updating protocols as new information comes along.
Wherever appropriate we use steam autoclave sterilization or one-use disposables, and we encourage your interest and questions in this important area. Your comfort and safety are our greatest concerns; in fact, the dental office is probably one of the safest places patients (and staff) can spend their time! |
